We are a community wind band based in Barnet, north London, Originally established as a brass band in 1889 we are now the longest established band in Barnet. We rehearse weekly and perform a mixture of indoor and outdoor concerts throughout the year - in churches, parks, garden centres, fairs and even the Hendon RAF museum. Auditions are not required, and we are seeking new members, particularly in the lower brass section.
WE ARE RECRUITING! REHEARSAL TASTERS
Players of all instruments are welcome to try us out by visiting a few rehearsals. Please contact us if you are a brass player but no longer have an instrument, as we might be able to lend you one.
We rehearse every Wednesday evening at 7.45 pm, at East Barnet School, 5 Chestnut Grove, London, EN4 8PU.
